INFORM acts as the hub of a vast global network of individuals and organisations with in-depth knowledge and/or experience of religious movements. Our relationship with network members is very much a two-way process with research findings, information, suggestions and referrals constantly being exchanged.
As well as gathering information from first-hand interviews with scholars and researchers, we speak to former members, current members and leaders of religious groups, and to the family and friends of members. Observation of groups' activities also provides an invaluable source of information. Enquiries are always treated with the strictest confidentiality. Confidentiality and/or anonymity is respected if requested by network members, too.
