VISIT US!

Enquirers are always welcome to visit our office, based at the London School of Economics and Political Science in central London. Visitors can talk with staff and conduct their own research. Our public files contain information on more than 1,500 groups from around the world while our thematic reference files hold information on an ever-expanding range of topics including children in new religions, violence, the brainwashing and deprogramming debates, the millennium and legal matters. Data are also collected and stored by geographic area.

INFORM's public files are stocked with information from as wide a range of sources as possible including, for example, academic studies, a variety of official documents, material originating from the group itself as well as from former members and opponents of the group, and material from the media. In addition to looking through our files, visitors are invited to make use of INFORM's extensive libraries of books, videos and audio cassettes.

Members of staff can also conduct 'searches' for enquirers on INFORM's electronic databases. The movements database contains basic information about more than 2,500 groups while the documents database stores thousands of news stories and other documents.

If you would like to visit us, please contact us in advance to make an appointment.
