Conferences
Inform occasionally organises large international conferences, attended by several hundred scholars and others interested in the topics under discussion. For details see past events.

Seminars
Each year, Inform organises two day-long public seminars on particular topics and issues. These are attended by counsellors, clergy, scholars, researchers, educationalists, social workers, members of religious movements, their families, former members, the media - and anyone else who is interested in gaining and exchanging information. Public Talks
Members of Inform staff and its Governors give lectures and talks related to the work of Inform, that are open to the public. During 2010, Professor Barker gave lectures in Beijing, Brussels, New York, Baltimore, Prague, Brno, Vienna, Ghent and numerous UK universities.
Also in 2010, Dr. van Eck Duymaer van Twist participated in a public debate on Paths to Extremism at the LSE, presented at an AHRC conference on 'Innovative Methods in the Study of Religion', and gave a presentation at the ICSA converence in Rome.
Suzanne Newcombe and Sarah Harvey presented a paper on 2012 prophecies at a University of Westminster collequm on 'The Apocalypse and its Discontents' and Sarah Harvey gave a presenation at Conway Hall.
